“There is a scene in the 1992 film Wayne’s World in which Wayne and Garth encounter a partied-out, nauseous friend on a bus stop bench. Garth pulls a comically small paper cup out of his shirt pocket and says, “if you’re gonna spew… spew into this.” I bring this up only to say that MILKIS spews into that cup, and they don’t spill a drop. Very rarely does this much bile, phlegm and partially digested matter fit this precisely into a preconceived form; rarely does something this nasty feel so exquisitely contained. MILKIS is a duo hailing from Tallahassee, Florida, and apparently all this ruckus was made using bass guitar, drums, and a DIY contact-mic’d kazoo.”
