Pot Tokyo
Video installation for the Odashi Tokyo restaurant in Yotsuya, Tokyo created using local weather data.
This video art installation was commissioned by Odashi Tokyo, a restaurant in Yotsuya, Tokyo. The video loop is a fluid and wind simulation using 24 hours of wind data from the day the restaurant open condensed to 4 minutes. The video is projected onto a black circle painted with Black 3.0 paint, the darkest commercially available paint. This gives the feeling of the video loop actually being projected into a void in the wall.
I was responsible for the animation, installation, ideation and research and development of proposed ideas.
This project was done with Konel.
